Seva Bharathi Tamilnadu vehemently condemns anti social / anti national outfits and groups that target Seva Bharati and are tying to malign its fair name. Seva bharati has decided to take legal steps in order to expose those elements envious of Seva Bharatis’ increasing goodwill among people of Tamil Nadu on account of the service organisation's dedicated service during natural calamities like floods and during the recent pandemic, according to a statement issued by Sri R. Ramanathan, Dakshin Tamil Nadu president of Seva Bharati. The statement also mentions the irresponsible statement by DMK’s Udhayanidhi Stalin that betrayed the half-baked nature of his politics. Those elements attempted to drag in the name of Seva Bharati in what is known as the “Sathankulam case” wherein two persons lost their lives following police interrogation. The selfless and dedicated service of Seva Bharati has attracted a large number of persons to involve themselves in such service activities over the past three decades. Particularly during the COVID-19 relief work, Seva Bharathi became the point of solace for lakhs of people affected by the virus as well as the lockdown.
