RSS files complaint on derogatory remark made by TN politicians

Recently Tamilnadu State Congress President Shri K S Alagiri had spoken comparing RSS with ISIS, a Salafi Jihadist militant group of Islamic State. Subsequently, Mr. Kamalahassan, actor turned politician of Makkal Needhi Maiyyam, while canvassing for by-election in Aravakurichi constituency had uttered that “free India’s first terrorist was a Hindu, his name is Nathuram Godse”. By saying so Mr. Kamala Hassan has outraged and wounded the feelings of multitude of Hindus. Further, the said act of Mr. Kamala Hassan is in such a way causing religious disharmony and creating enmity among different communities (since the said speech of his was delivered among a section of Muslim community). Rightly, several persons have filed a criminal complaint against the said actor before various jurisdictions. It is in support of Mr. Kamala Hassan that the Tamil Nadu Congress President, Mr. K.S. Alagiri in a press meeting, which was telecasted in India Today News Channel, had stated that RSS is akin to ISIS. Mr. Alagiri further in his interview had stated that RSS does not tolerate difference in ideologies and like ISIS will eliminate those who are opposed to its ideologies. By stating so, Mr. Alagiri had advanced the opinion of Mr. Kamala Hassan, and he in his own unequivocal words have addressed that he supports Mr. Kamala Hassan’s claim not by 100 times, but by 1000 times.

The malice statement of Mr K S Alagiri is unnecessarily creating aspersions on RSS for his political mileage. He had voluntarily annoyed RSS and wounded the feeling of its members. He had committed grass criminal defamation and for which he needs to be prosecuted.

RSS swayamsevaks in Tamilnadu filed complaint in all district headquarters and appealed for justice.
