“India unites when it comes to matters of national security” said Union Home Minister Amit Shah after the June 19 all party meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. to discuss Chinese aggression in Galwan Valley. An unequivocal message has been sent out that all parties have full faith in the valour of India’s armed forces and their ability to defend India’s sovereignty. PM Modi highlighted that the entire country was hurt and angry by actions of China at the LAC in which 20 Indian soldiers were martyred. He also assured that no intrusion on Indian territory has taken place along the LAC and no Indian Army’s post has been captured by China. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also briefed parties about Galwan Valley and the current situation at India-China LAC. Several small parties like RJD, AAP, AIMIM were not invited.

We will not retreat when the battle cry has been sounded.” referring to Palani's martyredom at Galwan, Stalin said the people of the State are always at the forefront when it comes to defending the nation.

"Not an inch of the Indian territory will ever be conceded", said Deputy Chief Minister and AIADMK Coordinator O Panneerselvam on Friday said the AIADMK would firmly stand behind Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Centre, and the Armed Forces in defending the country’s borders, and would back all proposed measures to be taken by them in this regard. OPS expressed confidence that the nation would overcome these challenges.Paying tribute to the martyred Palni of Ramanathapuram, Panneerselvam said that this fittingly showed every Indian from Kashmir to Kanniyakumari would defend the country.
