The World Tamil day celebrations
organized by the World Tamil Chamber of Commerce, headed by Mr.Selvakumar was
heald in Chinmaya Heritage center, Nungambakkam on Sunday 10th January, 2015.
It is a celebration of Tamizh art, music and culture of the
Tamil people across India and worldwide.
The chief guest of the day was the Governor of Tamilnadu Konijeti Rosaiah. Among the other special guests were T. R. Pachamuthu (SRM group of institutions), Nassar head of Nadigar sangam and many others. The program had a special awards to honour the Tamilzh people for excellent service that had taken tamizh culture, values and achievements which make themselves distinguished among other tamizh achievers.

Mr.Duraisankar, President of
Tamilnadu Seva Bharathi was awarded Special Achievements Award for relief work
from the Honorary Governor Mr. Rosaiah. Shri Rossiah congratulated all the awardees and said, it’s
the history of Tamilnadu people to excel in work and hope the World Tamil
Chamber Of Commerce will help more Tamizh people find more business
opportunities and be benefited.
