In a unique
thought, Sewabharathi Tamilnadu organized a programme to distribute relief
materials to the transgender people who are affected in Chennai floods. Shri Kumaraswamy, State Vice President, Shri
Duraishankar, President Sevabharathi, Shri Sunil Ramachandran, GM,
Mathrubhoomi, Padmini Prakash, world's first transgender news anchor
distributed the relief materials to around 400 people.
Hailing
the service of Sevabharathi in Chennai Floods, Padmini Prakash, World’s First
transgender News Anchor Padmini Prakash said that the support of transgenders
to Sevabharathi will be there always which serves the society with love and
spirituality.
Speaking on the
occasion, Shri Kumaraswamy, State Vice President of RSS said that transgenders
are worshipped as Arthanareeswara in our culture. Madhorubhagan deity in Tiruchengode resembles
the same. Being part of the society and Children of Bharat Matha, he appealed
to the transgenders to participate more to bring social changes in society.
