Mysterious Haj Subsidy Hike In Tamilnadu
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa has announced a hike in the subsidy for Haj Pilgrimage from Rs.20 lakh to Rs.30 lakh. The Haj subsidy costs the national exchequer crores of rupees. The Supreme Court in 2012 had directed the Centre to gradually reduce the amount of subsidies being given to Haj pilgrims so that within 10 years it is eliminated. Muslims too claim that the so-called Haj subsidy is of no use to the pilgrims and we never asked for it – says Zafarul Islam Khan, President of the All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat.

So That The Kamal Of Equality Blossoms in Classrooms
The state BJP has launched ‘Thamarai Yatrai’ (Kamal Yatra) to popularize the demand for extension of Scholarship scheme for Hindu students which only the minority students receive. This is discriminatory and will create differences among children and hence it should be extended to Hindu students to cover all communities. So far, the state government has kept a calculated silence over this demand that is getting louder by the day.

Suspected Love Jihad Attacks A Celebrity Family
Damini (20), daughter of Tamil cine Actor-Director Cheran wanted to marry Chandru with whom she said she was in love. In a press release Cheran stated that Chandru had cheated girls earlier and police had registered a case against Chandru. “How can I send away my daughter with a person who doesn’t value or respect women?” He objected to their relationship. Habeas Corpus petition was filed and allegations were leveled against each other. Ameer, another cine Director, issued a statement saying Chandru and his family had become Muslims and his original name is Abdul. His passport and other documents bear the same name. That leads anyone to raise the question: ‘Is this a case of the notorious Love Jihad?’
