The Indian Army, with selfless service to the nation, is one
of the largest armies with 1,129,900 active troops and 960,000 reserve troops.
Soldiers march with patriotic fervor safeguarding our borders, participating in
wars and protecting our country. History of the subcontinent tells us that
millions of soldiers were killed, thousands were wounded and missed
unknown. Yet, the patriotic fervor keeps
driving millions of soldiers and our Indian Army won all the wars in
post-independence period (except China war).
