Baba Ramdev's fast begins

New Delhi: Baba Ramdev's stir over black money and corruption issues began from Saturday morning. The 'satyagraha' started with the inspirational address of sadhvi Ritambhara. Shri Govind Giri Maharaj is also accompanying Baba Ramdev. International chief of VHP (Vishwa Hindu Parishad) Ashokji Singhal will participate in the agitation from 8 am.
Yesterday's negotiations between Central Government and Baba Ramdev that lasted for over 6 hours failed to yield fruitful results. Hence Baba Ramdev started his agitation from today morning.
Media is showing bias against Baba Ramdev

Baba Ramdev is set to sit on indefinite Fast in Delhi's Ramleela Ground . Entire country, eager to see corruption wiped out, is now standing in support of Baba Ramdev.
The media, however, is trying to play dowm Baba's popularity as much as possible. Various media organisations are twisting news reports & presenting the developements in a manner, which shows clear bias against Baba Ramdev. The section of media is hell-bent to discredit, downplay Baba Ramdev's Anti corruption movement & to smirch him.
Marathi daily Loksatta, standing true to it's recent anti Hindu tradition,has lablled Baba Ramdev's fast as "five star" ! Loksatta presented the news on front page as four column banner, blending cleverly editorial (read Congress) views with the news,instead of presenting the facts about the preperations for the fast. The Head line itself calls "बाबांचे पंचतारांकित उपोषण" (Baba's fivestar fast).
Interestingly the rival Marathi daily Maharastra Times has presented the news with the same details & with same Headline - i.e." रामदेवबाबांचे 'पंचतारांकित' उपोषण! "
Not only print media, but electronic media too followed the cue. While The Times of India tried to steer clear of controversies, it's sibling in electronic media Times Now tried to down play the movement by lablling it as "Competitive Fast" vis a vis Anna Hazare's fast !
These are mere examples. The similarities show that someone specifically is passing clear instructions to the media & the media persons are following the instruction blindly & enthusiastically & willingly. When the entire country is standing in support of Baba Ramdev, the section of media is clearly upset. In turn, this section is now openly trying to upset the anti corruption movement of Baba Ramdev by calling names. How otherwise can anyone explain the twisted "news" items presented by these media sections?
Film Artists Shaharukh Khan & Salman Khan have advised Baba to cling only to his Yoga & not to interfere in other matters of the country. He is not alone. It is interesting to see the persons who supported the Anna Hazare "Crusade" against corruption,are opposing Baba Ramdev's fast. The secular bandwagon is clearly uneasy. The mentality of these people is such that they feel that no one else has any right to talk about the matters concerning the country. This is typical pseudo-secularist approach, the neo-aparthide.
Let us watch how the people of India counter the negative propoganda.

I respect Swami Ramdev and I hope God will help him and us (all Indians) to succeed in this Mission of Bharat Swabhiman. Government and Media together are trying to defame Swami Ramdev, but now the poeple of India understand all this and they want freedom from this corrupt system. Let us joint hands against this corrupt government as well as corrupt Media and show them our power.
ReplyDeleteOur Media people are behaving like they are not Indians. They are working under the influence of government, like its slaves. We cannot say our Media is Independent.
OUR MEDIA SHOULD AT LEAST FIGHT FOR THEIR INDEPENDENCE IF THEY CANNOT FIGHT FOR COUNTRY!!!!!!!

I WANNA ASK - WHATS WRONG WITH PEOPLE OF INDIA AND PARTICULARLY HINDUS, WHO JUST DONT CARE IF THEIR LEADERS, THEIR SPIRITUAL ICONS AND ORGANIZATIONS FIGHTING FOR JUSTICE FOR HINDU COMMUNITY ARE LAMPOONED, RIDICULED AND ABUSED BY OUR MEDIA ???? HOWCOME MUSLIMS AND CHRISTIANS AND EVEN SIKHS TAKE TO STREETS UPON MOST SLIGHTEST OF PROVOCATION AND FORCE "ROLLBACK" OF ANY STATEMENT OR ACTION WHICH THEY DEEM DISRESPECTFUL OR "SENTIMENT-HURTING" FOR THEIR COMMUNITY WHEREAS HINDU COMMONMAN AND HINDU INTELLECTUALS AND "PERSONALITIES" BEHAVE AS IF THEY ARE LIVING IN SAUDI ARABIA AND THEY HAVE NO RIGHT TO EVEN PROTEST OR THEY WILL BE SENT TO GALLOWS FOR BEING "COMMUNAL" ?

CANT THEY COVERTLY SPONSOR OR PROMOTE A TV CHANNEL WHICH GIVES UNBIASED "REAL" NEWS TO THE PEOPLE OF INDIA ??? I KEEP SPENDING ENDLESS SLEEPLESS NIGHTS WONDERING AS TO HOW I CAN EXPOSE AND DESTROY THE PRO-CONGRESS BIASED ELECTRONIC MEDIA AND THEN I REALIZE I AM TOO INSIGNIFICANT TO DO ALL THIS AND MOREOVER I HAVE ZERO BANK BALANCE AND NO FAMILY INHERITANCE TO SUPPORT MY CAMPAIGN. BUT WHAT ABOUT BJP AND RSS ? DO THEY HAVE DEARTH OF PEOPLE OR MONEY OR INFLUENCE ? WHY DONT THEY DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT ?
