Pratinidhi Sabha ABPS 2018 to discuss on the need to preserve and enrich languages and dialects spoken in Bharat


Akhil Bhartiya Pratinidhi Sabha, the annual RSS meeting of representatives from various Prants and organisations started at Nagpur at 8:30 AM today. 1,538 Pratinidhis (Representatives) are expected to participate in this meet. 



Immediately after the inauguration, a press conference was arranged. Dr. Krishna Gopal ji, SahSarKarywah of RSS interacted with the media persons and gave them the information about ABPS and growth of RSS in last year. He informed that representatives from almost 95% districts of India are participating in this meeting. Apart from RSS, representatives of 35 organisations are participating. This includes 25 women representatives also. 

Outlining the progress of RSS work, he informed that reach of RSS has further grown this year. In 2017, there were 58,967 daily Shakhas, 16,405 Saptahik Milans (weekly get-togethers) and 7,976 Sangh Mandali (Monthly get-togethers) at 37,190 places across Bharat, 

Speaking about the training activities of Swayamsevaks, he informed that 86 Sangh Shiksha Vargs were conducted across India in which 24,139 Swaymsevaks participated. 1,180 Prathmik Shiksha Varg (7 Day Camps) were also conducted during last year in which 95,318 Swaymsevaks participated. In all, 1,19,457 Swaymsevaks were trained in various training camps last year. 

Special programs were also conducted across various Prants last year. One of the significant programs was Luitparia Hindu Samavesh. This was a massive conglomeration of Swaymsevaks of Uttar Assam organised at Guwahati on January 21, 2018. 31,351 Swaymsevaks in full Sangh uniform participated in this program. 

There are many languages and hundreds of dialects spoken in India. There is a need to preserve them else they will become extinct. A proposal will be put up in this Pratinidhi Sabha about the preservation and enrichment of various languages and dialects spoken in Bharat.
