India is a land of Vedic philosophy. Any
subject is should be worthy of logic and will be subject to debate has long
been the norm of this society. But with the arrival of invaders and those
alien to our culture, hypocrisy and erroneous
interpretation of this philosophy started to plug in. Swami Shraddhanand worked
to remove these kind of misconceptions from the society.
Highlighting the contribution of female Rishis(Rishikas) / lady
scholars (Vidushikas) to ancient Vedas Swami Shraddhanand brought the glory back
to the women of India.
RSS’s Sahsarkaryavah Dr. Krishna Gopal, keynote
speaker at the 91st year martyrdom of Swami Shraddhanand made a manifest at Arya
Central House,New Delhi to "Remove Superstition & Save our Country".
DR. Krishna Gopal said that Vedic
mantras recited were always credited to the Sage or Rishi, the giver of Vedic mantras, irrespective of Race, or caste or color. Many Vedic sages were
of Shudra character who then attained Rishi level by mere practice. But later the
study of the Vedas for certain people was banned.
Maharishi Dayanand, Maharishi
Shraddhanand then allowed people of all walks, those who have faith in the
Vedic Tradition to take up Vaidik activities and chant Vedic mantras. Swami
Shraddhanand himself handpicked the children of Shudra and admitted them in
Vedic hostels and proved that by practice those children can become Aryan. Swami
Shraddhanand gave this society a new rite, new practice and a new light by
doing this.
DR. Krishna Gopal said that due to the
long rule of invaders and forced conversion by sword,millions of Hindu in this
country moved away from their native Hindu Religion. Those who did Ghar Wapsi
& returned to Hinduism and the ones who helped them get back were met with
the penalty of death. Swami Shraddhanand breaking this rule conducted Shuddhi
Homa for purification, in hundreds of places to help converted Hindus return to
the religion of ancestors. He bought millions who were converted due to any fear
or solicitation of petty benefits back to the Road of Hindu Dharma by doing
this Shuddhi Homa. It was a landmark change. Swami Shraddanand broke the
Sterotypical barriers standing in the way of one’s return to native religion.
Being afraid of these Religious Cleansing campaigns and hesitatnt to discuss
their religion philosophies on a logical ground some fanatics murdered Swamiji.
DR. Krishna Gopal further added with no support
from governement, without donations Swami Shraddhanand established large educational
institutions for children, irrespective of caste or creed, who were cut off
from their roots due to imposed was the education system by the British.
Gurukul Kangri is one of them.Swami Dayanand started the English Vedic School
all over the country. Swami Shraddhanand started these Gurukul schools with the
aim to teach regular subjects along with the great Indian traditional of way of
education and ancestral pride to the present generation. We shall continue to
work in the on the route paved by Swami Shraddhand.
On this occasion,Meghalaya Governor Shri
Ganga Prasad, Mr Dharam Pal, Dr. Satpal Singh, Dr. Vidyalankar, Ms. Monika
Arora, Mr. Kirti Sharma and thousands were also present in the Arya
Samaj.
भारत वैदिक दर्शन का देश है , तर्कपूर्ण योग्य बातों को यहाँ का समाज मानता आया है। किन्तु कालांतर में बाहर के आक्रमणकारियों के आने के साथ कुछ रूढ़ियाँ , पाखण्ड और दोष इसमें जुड़ते गए। स्वामी श्रद्धानंद ने अनेक प्रकार की इन भ्रांतियों से समाज को निकालने का काम किया। वेदों के निर्माण में ऋषिकाओं/विदूशियों के योगदान को सामने लाकर स्वामी श्रद्धानंद ने भारत में महिलाओं का पुनः सम्मान बढ़ाया। राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के सह सरकार्यवाह डॉ. कृष्ण गोपाल ने यह उद्गार स्वामी श्रद्धानंद के 91 वें बलिदान दिवस के अवसर पर आर्य केंद्रीय सभा , दिल्ली राज्य के तत्वावधान में "अन्धविश्वास मिटाओ देश बचाओ" के ध्येय को लेकर आयोजित समारोह में मुख्य वक्ता के तौर पर प्रकट किये।
