Government recommends the inclusion of nationalist leader and RSS founder Dr. Hedgewar’s
biography in all college libraries for the students to read about other leaders
besides Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru.
Rajasthan Higher Education Minister Kali Charan Saraf stated
that the Government would also recommend biographies of other leaders like Bal
Gangadhar Tilak, Shyam Prasad Mukherjee, Chandrasekhar Azad and Subash Chandra
Bose in libraries of Government colleges.
He further stated that students need to read and learn more about these
leaders who contributed greatly to the freedom struggle and in nation
building.
