RSS training camp reception committee meet at Salem

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE CONCLUDING MEETING OF THE RECEPTION COMMITTEE FORMED FOR THE SANGHA SIKSHA VARGHA

After reviewing the 2 Sangha Siksha Varghas held in Salem, some of the Reception Committee Members expressed their feelings about RSS, which was cherished by all those who were present.  Shri Kumaraswamy, Prant Sah Sanghachalak presided over the meeting.  

Shri Selvam, the Varga Adhikari (Samanya Vargha) of the RSS training camp held in Salem is also running a school.  In his anubhav katha he said, “I used to give anti-RSS speeches and that RSS is a communal organization etc.  But after being a part of this camp for 20 days, ‘I feel ashamed’, ‘bow my head’ and ‘apologize for the words used against RSS’ before this Committee.”

Aachiappan (60) a trainee of vishesha varga said, “In 1970s when DK movement took a procession in Salem with slippers as garland for Lord Rama, slippers were thrown at the deity.  I was also one among the people who threw chappals.  Now, after this 20 day training programme feel that this camp is the atonement of the sin committed by me out of ignorance that day.”

Dr.Arthanaari, a reputed Doctor of Salem and Reception Committee President, said, “Reception committee may dissolve.  But the TAKE HOME MESSAGE is that we should involve ourselves in Sangh activities without any break”.
