Caste leaders meet for social harmony

Sangh has been created to unite all Hindus treating equally without any social discrimination. Dr. Hedgewar Smarak Samiti has organized a function on August 30th wherein representatives/leaders of 15 various communities participated. Sri Durai Shankar, Vibhag Sanghachalak presided over the function.  Sri M K R Mohan, Secretary of Dr. Hedgewar Smarak Samiti Trust welcomed the gathering. 



Sri Prakash, Prant Vidyarthi Pramuk in his address quoted various examples that Sangh carried to bring about social harmony in the society.  Sri Durai Shankar highlighted on the problems on consumption of liquor, conversion, problems faced by temples, ancestor worship, graha-devata worship, and explained on the need to correct these in the society. 





Yadav Sangh leader Sri Gopalakrishanan, Ooraali Gounder Sangh Secretary Sri Ponnusamy, Paraiyar Peravai State President Sri Airport Murthy, Vanniya Kshtriya Sangh President Sri Suryan, Arundhadithiyar Sangh State leader Sri Erimalai Ramachandran, 24 Manai Chettiyar Sangh State leader Sri Pannai Paramasivam, Mutharaiyar Sangh leader Dharmalingam, All Chettiyar Sangh State leader K C Arunachalam and others participated and expressed their views.


Sri Suryanarayana Rao, Senior RSS leader in his concluding speech expressed his happiness to see the leaders of various castes participating in this gathering. He further said, “Since we were slaves for 1000 years various divisions have arisen among us. We are all part of this society. To eradicate these divisions, one should lend their helping hand by involving ourselves in the society.”
