RSS celebrates Independence Day across the country; police denied Bharat mata puja at Coonoor

Rashtreeya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) celebrated 68th Independence Day across the nation; swayamsevaks saluted the national flag wherever they attended the Independence Day ceremony.
RSS Sarasanghachalak Mohan Bhagwat hoisted the national flag at Mohitewada maidan, at Mahal, Nagpur. Significantly, Mohitewada is the birth Place of RSS, where RSS was founded in 1925 by Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar.


RSS top functionaries Dr Manmohan Vaidya, J Nandakumar attended Independence Ceremony at Red Fort, along with few other prominent Sanghparivar leaders.
RSS Sahsarakaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale attended a program at Sambalpur in Odisha.



In Chennai, Sri M N Sundar, ABGP Organiser unfurled the National Flag at Karyalaya. 

In Hosur, Venkat, a swayamsevak got married today morning.  Immediately after tying the knot and marriage ceremony was over, he appealed to the guests ‘Uththista’ (Pls stand up) and sung national anthem. 




In yet another incident at Coonoor, Nilgris district, swayamsevaks were denied to do Bharat mata pooja by police and indulged in quarreling with Karyakarthas. RSS karyakarthas unfurled the National Flag and when they were doing the Bharat Mata puja and Raksha Bandan celebrations, the police had a quarrel with them.
