  2. I wonder how the Temple trustee can give such mind less statement !!! My Dad used to show me a place where the temple tank was once located. He said, when the 100 Ft road was constructed, portions of the temple was taken, and he said, after the temple tank has been slowly & steadily usurped by miscreants. He used to lament on seeing Lorries parked in that place and drivers using the place for natures call !!

Sivan Sothu!!! Kula Naasam !!! The sad state of our country will never change, if the Govt just ignores such old temples with historic values.. Reports say that the portions of the temple is again planned to be demolished for Chennai Metro rail !!

  3. The whole problem lies with the hindu community. They are very smug &don't want to enter into any sort of controversy. In this respect atleast iyengars 've the Guts. Why no PIL is filed by the knowledgeables & people who 've locus standi. The local area people themselves aren't bothered at all.Any number of vivekanandas/Bharathis can't awaken this TN Hindu Tamils.
