Puttur, 12 March,2011

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh(RSS) has passed two resolution in Akhil Bharatiya Prathinidhi Sabha. The first resoluton is on the issue of corruption & the second resolution is on growing China threat. Adressing the media persons here in Puttur, national executive council member of RSS, Ram Madhav elaborated on the resolutions.

The first resolution titled, 'Need for a decisive blow against corruption', talks about unrooting the corruption from the country in two fronts. First front stresses on the need of creating value based & ethic abiding men. The resolution talks about the urgent need to reinstall the 'Sanskar' based 'man making system' into the society, which were gradully eroded from the society. And as a second priority, RSS urges the people of the country to back all the individual & institutions, who are & will fight the corruption.

‎'Unless disciplined, cultured people who imbibe certain values & culture are created in the country, the issue of corruption cannot be addressed permanently & our family, temples & education institutions play a major role in this direction', opined Madhav.

'The image of the country is tarnished by all the corruption & Scandals", Said Madhav. He also added that, previously many movements to fight the corruption in the country were successful in changing the ruling governments but unfortunately the problem is unchanged. 'We need to have strong laws to punish the corrupt. And every effort to subvert the law to help the tainted should be stopped', urged Madhav.

The second resolution titled 'DEFEAT CHINESE DESIGNS AGAINST OUR NATIONAL INTERESTS AND SECURITY', talks on the growing civilian and defence ties between China and Pakistan & Presence of the 10,000-strong Chinese Army in Skardu ( PoK) in the guise of construction works and repairs to Karakoram highway,& China's plans forexporting one – Gigawatt (GW) nuclear plant and transfer of ballistic missile technology to Pakistan'. The ABPS resolution has termed them as 'threat to national security & also as 'acts that are precipitating potential nuclear conflict in the region'.

The Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha in resolution has expressed serious concern over the growing multi-dimensional threat from China and says, "the lackluster response of the Government of Bharat to its aggressive and intimidator tactics. Casual attitude and perpetual denial of our Government in describing gross border violations by the Chinese People's Liberation Army as a case of 'lack of common perception on the LAC', attempts to underplay the severe strategic dissonance between the two countries and failure to expose the expansionist and imperialist manouvers of China can prove fatal to our national interests".

The ABPS drawn the attention of Indian government and countrymen to the threat from China in the form of diversion of river waters in the South Central Tibetan region.

Ram Madhav was also accompanied by Dr. Manamohan Vaidya, chief of RSS's publicity cell.
