Press Statement of Shri Suresh (Bhaiya ji) Joshi – General Secretary, RSS
On Dec 19th 2010, during the plenary session of the congress party, its General Secretary Shri Digvijay Singh had made baseless allegations and had made comments on RSS which are irresponsible, baseless, untrue and devoid of facts. Congress is indulging in such baseless allegations on sangh to deflect the criticism that's coming in all directions because of its own actions.
Congress had been leveling such baseless allegations on sangh for long now. In spite of this, the support of the society for sangh is only increasing with the day as its in direct contact with the common man of the country.
For the sake of minority votes, congress had been indulging in politics of communal divide. Whenever it or its government has been in deep trouble, it had made it a habit to launch a sharp attack on RSS, although unsuccessfully.
Sangh had already clarified that it does not believe in violent activities, it neither supports nor believes in terrorist activities. If terror attacks have taken place, then impartial probe has to take place and after completion of legal process, the guilty should be punished. Where investigation is going on but the judicial process is yet to complete such unsubstantiated statements are in gross interference in the investigation and judicial process. Language of Minority-Majority terrorism is improper and it raises serious questions on the sincerity of dealing with terrorism as such. Further, it’s also a sign of how nationalistic forces would be troubled in future.
RSS is confident that the people of this country are intelligent and would not fall into the trap of such designs and taking along the society sangh’s vow to serve the society in nation’s interest would remain uninterrupted.
