From Left - Shri Durai Shankar, Shri Sadagopan and Shri Veerabaghu

The 3-day meeting of the Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal of the RSS, concluded on 31st Oct at Jalgaon (Maharashtra), has decided to hold nationwide MASS DHARNA on the 10th of November at all the state and district head quarters to protest against the vindictive and politically motivated anti-Hindu and anti-RSS canards being spread by some leaders of the ruling establishment. On that basis, demonstrations and peaceful protests are planned in all district headquarters of Tamilnadu.

A public meeting has been organised in B V Naicken Street,(Near Ratna Cafe) Triplicane, Chennai, on the 10th Nov at evening 6:30PM. Hindu Munnani Founder – President, Shri Rama Gopalan, BJP State Chief Shri Pon Radhakrishnan & RSS State Organising Secretary Shri Sthanumalayan would address the gathering.

RSS Chief Shri Mohan Bhagwat would himself participate in the protest in Lucknow and RSS General Secretary Shri Bhaiyaji Joshi would participate in Hyderabad.

RSS has been in service of the Nation for the last 85 years by developing qualities like discipline, obedience, and patriotism & service mentality amongst countrymen and more importantly amongst the youngsters of the nation.

At the ideological level the RSS has always displayed zero tolerance to terrorism of all varieties. Infact, hundreds of RSS Swayamsevaks had lost their lives and many more affected because of the acts of the cadre (and their organizations) who were involved in violent & terrorist activities. RSS has lost many of its important cadres and leaders, especially in States like J&K, Jharkhand, Chattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamilnadu, North Eastern states etc. to the terrorists’ attacks of the Jehadis, Maoists, North East insurgents, Kashmiri terrorists and others.

As part of the investigations into some cases of bomb blasts in the country during 2007 and 2008 the agencies have arrested some individuals belonging to the RSS and charged them with certain accusations that need to be established in the courts. The General Secretary of the organization Shri Bhayyaji Joshi had immediately issued a statement extending full cooperation to the investigations. The accused functionary was immediately relieved of his responsibilities. Further, RSS had also extended complete cooperation to the investigating agencies.

Some Union ministers and congressmen are spreading baseless allegations and canards about RSS with sinister political motives, to defame the RSS in particular and the Hindu movement in general. Further a false and baseless campaign has also been done by them charging Central Executive Member of the RSS, Shri Indresh Kumar, to be involved in terror related activities.

In fact in the last few years the country has witnessed a sustained campaign by these anti-Hindu forces against saints, temples and the Sangh suggesting some deep-rooted conspiracy.

The proposed nation-wide dharna and public meetings are intended to create public awareness by exposing the baseless charges against Sangh and to condemn the politically motivated conspiracy of the Congress party.
