Bharat Parikrama: Sitaram Kedilaya enters Tamilnadu


Shri Sitaram Kedilaya, top RSS functionary since 6 decades initiated ‘Bharat Parikrama’ at Kanyakumari, Tamilnadu on 9th August 2012. From that day he had been touring by foot throughout the country covering all the States and neighbouring countries like Nepal and Bhutan. After covering 22,000 km as of date, Sitaram Kedilaya now entered Tamilnadu at Shivaada Village of Thiruvallur District. He will be touring villages of every district in Tamilnadu and his journey by foot ends on 9th August, 2017 at Kanyakumari.


Sri Sitaram Ji sticks on for single meal a day. He will have no possessions or belonging with him. During his walk he sings bhajan songs. His routine would be as follows: Stay in a home during nights. While walking he sings bhajans. During afternoons, he goes in front of a house asks ‘Bhikshan Dehi’ and the lady at home will feed him for 3 times. Then he enters that home and eats only 3 handful of rice given by the Annapoorni. He gives lectures to mahilas at temples and meets the sick and elderly people. He also meets the youth and will have discussion with them. He emphasizes on 6 points – One should love his village, love the mankind, conserve the water, help elders and all living beings, and grama upliftment. For this, a monthly Milan can be encouraged and transformation can be brought into slowly. Yatra Slogan ‘Know Bharath; Be Bharath; Make Bharath” clearly visions the grama upliftment.




RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat joined the yatra at Panvel, Dadra Nagar Haveli and also in Seekar District of Rajasthan.



As Sitaram Ji entered Tamilnadu today at Shivada Village of Thiruvallore District from Varoor Village (Chitoor), he was received by Sangh adhikaris of Tamilnadu Shri Ramarajasekar Prant Seva Pramuk, Shri Saravanan, Prant Jagran Pramuk, Shri C Rajasekar and others. Sitaram Ji was welcomed by the village people in a traditional manner.



Shri Sethumadhavan, Akhil Bharatiya Jagran Pramuk, Shri Padmakumar, Kshetra Seva Pramuk, Shri P M Ravikumar, Uttar TN Pranth Pracharak, Shri Senthil Dakshin TN Prant Pracharak, Shri Ramarajasekar Pranth Seva Pramuk, Shri Saravanan Pranth Jagran Pramuk, Shri Bakthavatsalam Hindu Munnani. Shri Prakash Vibhag Karyavah and other Sangh representatives were present.

கன்யாகுமரியில் 9.8.2012ல் துவங்கி கடந்த 41/2 ஆண்டுகளாக கர்னாடக, மஹாராஷ்ட்ர, குஜராத், ராஜஸ்தான், பஞ்சாப், வங்காளம், அஸ்ஸாம், ஒரிஸ்ஸா, ஆந்திரா, போன்ற அனைத்து மாநிலங்களுக்கும் மற்றும் நேபாளம், பூடான் ஆகிய நாடுகளுக்கும் சென்று தமிழக எல்லையான திருவள்ளூர் மாவட்டம் திருத்தணி அருகில் உள்ள சிவாடா கிராமத்திற்கு 2.12.2016 அன்று வருகை புரிந்து பாதயாத்திரையை துவங்குகிரார்.
74 வயதான அவர் இதுவரை 22000 கீ.மீ பயணித்துள்ளார். 9.7.2017 குருபூர்ணிமா அன்று கன்யாகுமரியில் இந்த பாரத பரிக்ரம யாத்திரை நிறைவு செய்கிறார்.

யாத்திரை நோக்கம்

பாரதம் கிராமத்தை அடிப்படையாக கொண்டது. கிராமம் விவசாயத்தை அடிபடையாக கொண்டது. விவசாயம் கோமாதாவை (பசு) அடிபடையாக கொண்டது. ஆக இந்த யாத்திரை கிராம முன்னேற்றத்தை அடிபடையாக கொண்டது. கிராம முன்னேற்றமே தேச முன்னேற்றம் என்ற மகாத்மா காந்திஜியின் கருத்துக்களை இந்த பாத யாத்திரை நினைவூட்டுகிறது.

யாத்திரையின் ஒரு நாள் திட்டம்
தங்கியிருக்கும் கிராமத்தில் காலை 5.00 மணிக்கு கோமாதா பூஜை வழிபாடு.
காலை 6.00 மணிக்கு துவங்கி 9.00 மணிக்குள் சுமார் 10 முதல் 15 கீ.மீ நடைபயணமாக அடுத்த கிராமத்திற்குச் செல்லுதல்.
கிராம பெரியோர்களை, பள்ளி மாணவர்களை சந்தித்தல்.
மதியம் ஒரு வேளை மட்டும் உணவு (பிக்ஷை) ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுதல்.
மாலை கிராம மக்களை சந்தித்தல்.(கிராம சபா)
சமய சொற்பொழிவு நிகழ்த்துதல்.
