Sangamam of Sangh Families in Chennai Karyalaya

RSS Chennai organized ‘Sakthi Sangamam’ an informal gathering of families of swayamsevaks at ‘Sakthi Karyalaya’ on 9th February, 2020. 

Around 975 men, women and children from families had a chit chat with Akhila, Kshetra/Prantha Adhikaris. Traditional games like ammanai, pallankuzhi, paramapadam etc. kindled the enthusiasm among visitors. Paati Vaidhyam and inputs from Arogya Bharati attracted visitors. 

The Program was initially inaugurated by lighting a lamp by Shri L Natarajan, Prantha Sadasya, Shri Veerabahu, Editor Vijayabharatham. Pushpanjali were offered to the ‘kolu’ (display) of Shri Ram Ayodhya temple. Display and demo by young people on the concept of CAA was well received by the visitors. Quiz kindled the forgotten facts. Bhajans by youth made the environment pleasant. Chit-chat with adhikaris made the day memorable. Gau pooja by visitors. Gau products and sangh books on various topics were on sale. A small drama on the importance of water conservation was performed by nagar shaka swayamsevaks. Some families brought some eatables, distributed it to others, whereas a common arrangement was also made for the dinner and a traditional ‘thamboola bag’ for the families leaving karyalaya. 

Shri Ramkumar, Mahanagar Sampark Pramuk insisted the values of Pancha-bhootas in day-to-day life and the need to be preserved. Shri Chaithanyananda ji Maharaj, Vellimalai Ashram, and Shri Chandrasekar, Mahanagar Sanghachalak were present. 

Shri P M Ravikumar, RSS State Organising Secretary, Uttar Tamilnadu briefed about Shri Parameshwaran Ji, veteran Sangh Pracharak, who passed away at Ottapalam, Palakad District. Audience paid one-minute silence to Shri Parameshwaran ji followed by Shanthi mantra.
