Day long camp for Village Temple Priests

A day long Village Temple Poojari (Priest) training camp was held at Panruti on 26^th June, 2016.  Starting the camp with Pranayama, Yoga, the participants were educated on practical session of performing puja. Chanting mantras, singing bhajans, Deepa puja were part of the camp.  59 persons from Cuddalore, and 30 persons from Vizhupuram participated in the programme.  

Marking the 1000^th jayanthi of Swami Ramanujacharya, under the guidance of Vaishava Acharya Vilaancholai thopu Swamigal, the streets of Panruti town witnessed a special bhajan and folk dance march. Prant Pracharak (UTN) RSS Shri P M Ravikumar addressed the gathering.  Prant Samarastha Pramuk Shri Guru Subramaniam, District Organizer Shri Selvaraj, Manikandan and Shri Narayanan, Co-ordinator Swami Ramanujacharya 1000^th year Jayanthi Celebration Committee, Shri P Mohanakrishnan, President, Faith Trust,  Shri Dhanasekaran, Vizhupuram Auditor were present on the occasion.
