Hindu Munnani demands stern action

SSLC examination in Tamilnadu began from 25th of March this year. On 27th March, the students appeared for Tamil Paper II exam which triggered a controversy.
The fifth question of the paper read, “What is a book that teaches you to love fellow human?”
The three options given are (1) Bible (2) Bhagavad Gita (3) Nannul.
The right answer is Bible.
Hindu Munnani claims, that by implying Bhagavad Gita is the wrong answer, the paper has shown disrespect towards the holy book. Nannul is a book on grammar. Hindu Munnani further claims that such questions based on the concept of religion, will have an confused impact in the minds of the students. Moreover, including Bhagavad Gita and ignoring Koran speaks that the person who prepared the questionnaire has an implied motive to thrust the religion in their mind. Further they demanded that full marks should be given to all the students who attended this question.

Hindu Munnani led by the City Secretary Sri Elango, Sri Manohar submitted a petition to the Directorate of Government Examinations, demanding stern action against the person who prepared the questionnaire and speedy action against the correction in text books (petition submitted earlier which is still pending).
