In connection with the 150th birth year celebration of Swami Vivekananda, Seva Bharathi, Vivekananda Kendra, Sri Bala/Sri Shivasakthi Vinayagar team along with RSS Chennai-Triplicane Unit organized for Blood Donation Camp, Free Eye, Dental and Medical Camp, Free Yoga Class. Various sessions like ‘Secret of Success’ for school going children and ‘food is the medicine’ session, exhibition portraying Swami Vivekananda were part of the programme.
Nearly 950 people participated in the camp. 176 persons donated blood, 15 persons were given free eye surgery, 200 free spectacles were provided. Leading Hospitals like Life Med Hospital, Chettinad Hospital, Ramachandra Hospital, Udhi Hospital, Govt. Hospital Royapettah offered their services for the cause. NKT Girls School, Youth environment services, Victory organization, Ekkam Foundation, Mangal Nethra and Triplicane Vyabarigal Sangam also participated in the programme.
