A Parliament Member bows to peoples' demand

After the Ayodhya verdict from the Allahabad High Court favouring Hindus with 2/3 of disputed (2.77 acres) of land, Hindus need a Ram Temple to be built there. Approximately 67 acres of land was acquired by an ordinance by the then Central Government headed by Sri P.V. Narasimha Rao in the name of safeguarding Sri Ram Lala. This ordinance was approved by the Parliament through an Act on January 07, 1993. For building Ram Temple the proposed land is not sufficient and the entire land which is in possession of the Government is also needed.

Hanuman Sakthi Jagran committee has started a signature campaign, giving details about the Ram Janma Bhoomi and seeking their signatures for building temple through a motion to be proposed for Government Order.

In such campaign all local political, social leaders are also approached for this cause. It is proposed to meet sitting M P of Kanyakumari District Mrs. Helen Davidson of the ruling Party DMK, who is also a Christian. Various Hindu organization representatives met the M P on 15.10.2010. They explained in detail about the judgement and requested her to support the cause in Parliament when a motion is proposed for Government Order to hand over the land to Hindus. She gladly offered her first signature, signed the memorandum with her full postal address. All present were happy that their demand will be supported by their representative in the Parliament. The delegation that met the M P included Dr. S R Srinivasa Kalyan, Saha Jilla Sanghachalak, Sri S Rajendran, Jilla Saha Karyavah, Sri C Velayutham, Ex MLA, Jilla Samparka Pramukh, Smt.
